How It Got Started
In 2007, the Pacific Coast Cutting Horse Association wanted to move its stallion service auction online. Those auctions were held at banquets back then. Nothing on the market was built for that kind of sale, so we built one.
The first version was basic. After that, the people using it started asking for things: a credit card on file before bidding, maximum bidding, buy-it-now after the close, favorites, more photos and video. Every request that made sense went in.
Horse sales came next, and then cattle. Today the same software runs bull sales, female sales and consignment sales for ranches and sale organizers. That first association, PCCHA, from 2007 is still with us.
Who Is Behind It
Tom Bruch built the software in 2007 and still runs it. He is involved with every client and every sale, and he is the one who answers the phone.
Debbie and her design team build each sale website and work with you on the look. Most ranches work with the design team more than anyone during setup.
Carrie Bruch handles promotion: the Facebook posts for every sale, our blog posts, and the bidder email campaigns.
Our technical team handles the software, payments, email and anything that comes up during a sale.
We have run sales on the same platform every season since 2007. Ranches come to us for a sale website that works on sale day.
